Plushenko Honored

Twenty-three figures from culture, sport and science
whose achievements have been recognized as among the year's
most important have been named Russian of the Year,
Itar-Tass reported.

Yevgeny Plushenko, the virtuoso figure skater and gold medal-winner
at the Olympic Games in Turin, was named a Champion of Russia.
Former world chess champion Anatoly Karpov was named a Legend of Russia

印象に残ったのはこの二つかな。
ISM: What do you hate?
Evgeni: – I hate getting up early and going to practices.
And there you have to skate and to skate well!
That’s why I don’t like it. I like sleeping!
苦手は早起き。やっぱり(笑)
ってか、目を開けたまま寝る特技もありそうだよね。
よく写真でそういう顔してるし。

ISM: What talent would you like to have?
Evgeni: To be honest, I’m not perfect,
but I’m happy and grateful that God gave me a talent and
respect for my parents and elder people.
So I think I just want to stay the person that I’m now.
あるがままを感謝する。
ジェーニャのこういうところが好きだ。

日本チームのけが人も心配だが
