4/8のアメリカのコンペ映像レポが

ファンボードで、昨夜アメリカで放送された<a href=http://www.usfsa.org/news/2002-03/ABCSportsIFSC-recap.htm>
ABC Sports International Figure Skating Challenge</a>の模様を、ファンが<a href=http://pub24.ezboard.com/fevgenyplushenkodevotionfrm1.showMessageRange?topicID=412.topic&start=21&stop=28>レポ</a>してくれている。
どんなジャンプを跳んだか、とか結果についてはこのコンペ当時の情報で知っていたが、
映像でみてもやはりジェーニャは相当疲れているよう。

ううっ。痛々しいっ。
それでもワイスやクワドなしのゲイブルよりは、ずっと格上のものを見せてくれた
んだとか。
ちなみに、放送でリー君はあえなくカット。
せっかく土壇場でエントリーしたというのに、なぜだぁぁぁぁ(泣)

女子は日本人選手の村主さんがコーエンを押さえ2位を飾った大会ゆえ、
この映像も去年同様、日本のESPNでも放送してくれることを期待しよう。

あと、COI＠Hamptonのレポが追加されていたので、ジェーニャの部分だけ抜粋。

Poor Evgeny had a bad night, he touched down on one jump,
and had a fall on another. He was not happy.

Evgeny Plushenko -- His long program. He attempted at least 7-8 jump passes
and he was on and off with the jumps. He did a 3toe/3toe but fell on the
2nd 3toe. I think he might have had another fall, and a couple more errors.
But he landed as many jumps as he missed. I must have been on the judges'
side because I saw mostly his face rather than his back. He certainly can
sell a program.

とうとう跳んだジャンプの半分失敗ということに。
ジェーニャ、見るものを楽しませているうちはいいが、かわいそうだと思われて
までジャンプを跳ぶのは、もうやめてくれ。
