COI@プロヴィデンス

iskater.comでCOI＠プロヴィデンスのレポがあった。
ジェーニャに関しては、ジェーニャ嫌いでジェーニャを寄せ付けもしない前者のようなものと
ジェーニャに好意的な後者のようなものと二つ上げられていた。

Evgeny Pluschenko...*yawn.* Did he pull out one of his old competitive programs for this tour? Whatever it was I couldn't get past the horrendous choreography and music cuts to enjoy much of the skating. He is definitely in the category of people who need to stop flapping their arms around uselessly (fer gawd's sake). There was one very impressive footwork section but beyond that I was bored.

ジェーニャが大嫌いだというのを隠そうともしないね。
しかもかなり感情的な文章だったので、この後のレスで「このレポはヤグファンに違いない」
「いや、ジェーニャがヤグのライバルではなくても多くの北米人はジェーニャのスケートが嫌いだ」
などという不穏な会話が・・・。
私としてはこの人、ゲイブルびいきのような気がする。
ヤグのことまでジェーニャ同様退屈だと言い切ってたし。
たしかにゲイブルのスケートが素晴らしいというなら、ヤグとジェーニャが退屈に見える感性なのも納得できる(笑)

一方、雰囲気を察したのか、私はこういう見方をしてます、というような前者よりは少し冷静なレポが直後に載っていた。
褒めているというより、フォローって感じか。

Plushenko was very good. His Carmen was very dramatic but I find some of his staccato hand movements humorous at times. I know the program was not a funny one but I couldn't help laughing at some of the movements he makes. His jumps are awesome though. What I liked about him is that he skated a totally different type of number from what he skated last year. It shows that he is more versatile than some.

ヤグがいなくてもこの有様。
これでヤグの参加する公演のヤグファンレポは一体どんなことになるんだろう。
ちょっと予想がついてCOIレポを読むのいやだなぁ。
