Plushenko - I enjoyed him more than I ever had in all the years
since '98 that he's been in this show.
I am so glad Collins ok'd Tosca.
Thrilling footwork, wonderful command and soul in the performance.

もうひとつ。
Plushenko- I'm not a big fan, but I couldn't help but enjoy
the authority with which he skated his program.
I liked seeing him do pure skating rather than a program like Sex Bomb.

ジェーニャも一様に誉められてはいるが
それ以上にトト&マリの演技が非常に評判がいいな。

you seem like a true rival for him.
Which kind of relation do you have with Evgeni Pluchenko?

And it is true that during the competition we dont really talk with
the other competitors.
It is rather each person’s manner of preparing, his manner of warming up.
And then after the competition it is different.
The tension is gone and there is much more communication.

敵対するような闘争関係よりは
そういう「健全」な関係を作ろうという思想が
血となり肉となって彼の人格を形成していそう。
世界チャンプでありながら彼ほど多くのファンから好かれ
批判を浴びない選手も珍しいしね。
闘争者としては少々生ぬるい気もするが。

今さらながらヤグプルは本当にタフだったな。
ああいう背景を背負ってなおかつ互角に戦いつづけてきたんだから。
