スルツカヤは下馬評どおり活躍、村主さんも健闘。
一方荒川さんが出遅れちゃったようだ。
ワールドでは勝負強かったクワンも今回は5位。

まぁ、現状では無事に滑りきれるかどうかであって
滑走順の有利不利なんて問題じゃないわな。

But the Russian, who has been plagued by knee, back, hip and groin injuries,
said that he only began training again three weeks ago after winning
a fourth European title in Turin.

"I took some rest but put on five kilos and this extra weight
aggravated all my old injuries and makes it more difficult to jump,"
said the Russian who placed just fifth in the short programme.

"I'm not looking for excuses, but a week ago I couldn't perform
a triple lutz," said Plushenko.
"It's my decision to continue because it's here in Russia."

"I took two pills before practice because one wasn't enough and
then I had a painkiller before the short programme and will have
another before the free programme," he explained.
